Sonia K. Hadad is an Iranian writer and director. At Emerson College in Boston, she studied Film and Media Arts (M.F.A.). She was born in 1989, in Tehran, and was primarily educated in her native country. In 2009, she graduated from the Azad University of Art and Architecture in Tehran with a B.A. in Theatre and Dramatic Literature. The writing of short stories for youth magazines led her to her primary interest: writing for film. Having moved to the United States in 2013, Sonia began producing for the film industry, as well as editing TV series and making short films.
